Still learning wine. This is a good red. — 4 years ago
23 years old Aglianico. Colour reveals this little fact. Very ripe and slightly oxidized Madeira-like bouquet full of caramel, toffee, balsamic and animal notes, tar, purple basil and medicinal herbs. Great balance, good volume with ripe tannin (which is still quite powerful). Long evolving aftertaste. Sophisticated, already on it's peak. Great experience. — 4 years ago

All the rich intense dark fruit of a young wine, with the structure, fragrance & complexity of its 15 years—superb! 100% Merlot, decanted & savored. — 4 years ago
Wonderful wine. From what I remember, there was an underlying savory/mineral note to it which was next level. — 5 years ago

Feudi Studi Greco di Tufo Chianchetelle 2018
Expressive & lively with white peach, ripe red apple, a stony, rocky, mineral underbite enriched with a flowery whiff and a hit of almond.
Nice, medium-bodied mouthfeel with racy, juicy acidity and spice peach & apple. Underneath all that there’s a mineral, salty note, adding another dimension. The mineral edge adds almost a light tannic feeling.
This has quite some depth, tension & character. It’s not for the light hearted (14,5% alc!) but carries it well and is a brilliant idea expression of the often simple Greco. — 4 years ago

This is a great white wine resembling a Pinot Grigio. Not too dry and it is light and crisp. — 7 years ago
