The more serious blend. Aged much more in barrel and bottle. Dark red and blue berries, herbs, smooth tannins. Full throttled now as it will need 3-5 years to come together. — 7 years ago

Lovely nose of spiced fruit, ripe plum, raspberry jam, and cinnamon. Spicy dark fruit, oak, coffee, black tea, blackberry, sage, and licorice. A lovely wine that starts a bit shy, but opens up nicely. Medium tannins, medium plus alcohol, and medium to medium plus acid. — 5 years ago
