Lovely nose of spiced fruit, ripe plum, raspberry jam, and cinnamon. Spicy dark fruit, oak, coffee, black tea, blackberry, sage, and licorice. A lovely wine that starts a bit shy, but opens up nicely. Medium tannins, medium plus alcohol, and medium to medium plus acid. — 5 years ago

Organic wine from Italy that we had at Belissimo restaurant in Ireland. Great smooth medium bodied wine that lingers as it goes down. Nursing with cassis, twig and oak tannins . Very nice! — 7 years ago

Palate: plum, cherry, raisin and fig.
