Light ruby in color. Itβs from Canada. And it smells of dry grasses and wild flowers. Or maybe those are just the smells stuck in my nose. Itβs family time here at the lake house in Canada, with all the tension and buried hurts family time can entail. Enter this Pinot noir. The scent of violet, the taste of rose petals, tart cherries, and red currants. Itβs new and familiar at the same time. Brings me right back to myself. Families are families, for better or for worse. Then wine, old grapes made in a new way, complex and fleeting, helps give you the long view and takes you right back home. β 6 years ago
Seriously delicious. The most memorable cab franc I have had. β 6 years ago
Light, crisp, dry, slightly petrol, lime β 7 years ago
Pleasant aperitif. Moscato style presumably from Muscat grape, but varietals in blend not specified. A low alcohol (7.5), little sweet and little sparkling, fruit-forward wine. β 7 years ago
This is our entry level Pinot Noir, fruit from estate vineyard in OK Falls and three vineyards in SE Kelowna. Older seasoned French oak barrels, fruit and cherry on the nose. Well balanced - a lovely expression of an Okanagan Pinot. Drinking well now but certainly has a few more years. β 8 years ago

2020 vintage.
Originally planted in 1978, these are the oldest Riesling vines in British Columbia. The grapes come from a 2 acre north facing vineyard.
Bright, pale green gold colour.
Peach, petrol, wet rock, nectarine and white flowers on the nose.
Crisp, mouth watering acidity.
Lemon and lime rind. Slate, apricot pit, mandarin and white peach flavours.
The last bunches were harvested in late October only 12 hours before first frost and snow with whiteout conditions.
Old Vines Riesling is aged for 2 years in the bottle before release. β 2 years ago

Asherβs bday with my parents β 7 years ago
Pale gold color and a pronounced bouquet of pear, ripe pineapple, apricot and lemon. Unctuous texture, full bodied and creamy on the Palate. A bit light in acidity so it verges on count but the long finish is very clean β 7 years ago

Very nice balance of sweetness and acidity. β 4 years ago
Paired it with Latchi Indian food from Penticton while the fires are raging in Christie Mountain. Wines like this make you forget the world around you. What a crazy year youβve been 2020! β 5 years ago
Maybe the best Iβve had. Ever. β 6 years ago
Great wine. Dark berries, spices and tannins. β 6 years ago

Perfect with raclette as it cuts through the fat cheese and brings acidity to it all. β 7 years ago
