Very good pair with Baked Salmon and Greek Salad. Bright and lemons stand out. — 7 years ago
This is the 2016 and it Devine. Had to open every bottle until they were gone. If you see it drink buy it. It’s a hidden gem for $12 — 8 years ago
Another view of the potential future urban winery site for Scholium Project in LA. Don’t let the graffiti fool you, as a world class restaurant is building a home across the street. As for the wine, I prefer Abe’s Syrahs to the Petits. This was also consumed en Solo Cup, and the Babylon has typically been a bit too ripe for me. — 8 years ago

This was my contribution to the happy hour. Having never had it, it was recommended by one of the employees at Wine Watch and they hit it out of the park. Absolutely gorgeous. Amazing fruit, long finish, great complexity and left me wanting more. — 9 years ago

What an incredible second day here in Napa. Jesus started us off with an amazing tasting at Davies/Schramsberg, Crocker & Starr gave us our cab franc fix, Montagu & Addax put on a double tasting, and Hourglass knocked it out of the park at the end of the day! I won’t post each wine we tasted, but I’ll highlight the best from each spot.
@jesus g was a killer host. He opened up some older sparklers to compare against new releases as well as poured some very impressive JDavies reds, including the Diamond Mtn Cab. This JSchram Reserve ‘08 though was on a different level. Honeyed almond, apricot, lemon curd. Texture and acidity were seductive at 10yrs old. Happy to have one tucked away for the foreseeable future. Legit, @jesus g ! — 8 years ago

Brief tasting notes from the annual Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival. Whites knocked it out of the park this year.
Was kind of shocked a wine of this caliber would be at a mass tasting. Figured it would be one of their appellation wines...imagine my surprise when I saw it was their LH&S! 2016...BABY. Almost a sin to drink these this young, but this drank better than other young Aubert’s I’ve had. Laser focused minerality, lemon tart, lemon cream, toasted almonds. — 8 years ago

2018 Mirabai Kelley Fox Wines from Dundee Hills in Willamette Valley Oregon. Drank as part of wine and cheese tasting by Venissimo North Park. Very light pinot with nice fruity flavors but didn’t linger too long on the palate. Would happily enjoy again. — 5 years ago
