Best thing I've ever tasted!!!!! — 8 years ago
35 year old sherry cask bottled in 2005. Very rare bottling. Medium amber hue. On the nose, remarkably floral and sherried notes that are delicate rather than pungent. Clearly old and complex. On the palate, rich and deep, warming alcohol with high concentration of marzipan and nutty sherried flavours, elegant and not over powerful. The alcohol is only 43% abv so either there's a ton of angel share or it's been diluted on bottling. Seriously good. — 9 years ago
Pie and whiskey , yummy. — 9 years ago
Golden straw. Very elegant aromas of wet turf, potting soil, sea spray, and dried apricots in the background. Subtle malt flavors, vanilla, and fresh tobacco. Full mouthfeel with a long finish. — 9 years ago
Less fruit than suggested and also more peaty than expected - however wonderful pear and a great smokey finish — 9 years ago
This was a spur of the moment purchase. Was looking for a Nikka 10 and ended up with this. Smooth, light, sweet with a gentle hint of smoke. I'm not a peaty fab but this was just bang on. — 10 years ago
Had this in Osaka bar with Ricchan, made by the owner — 10 years ago

This Whiskey is a Product of The Crown Royal Distilling Company which is out of Norwalk CT and it is this same company which imports this product as all of the bottling of this product takes place in Canada. — 11 years ago

Nose is apple, fresh and light. In the mouth very light and jovial as well. Fruity and then lightly bitter on the finale. Very feminin and elegant. — 9 years ago
Outstanding American whisky. Slightly lower alcohol than the norm - better drinkability. A definite buy. — 10 years ago
Peat moss, caramel, and smoke. I can't believe this is from Japan. Phenomenal 'pure malt whisky.' — 10 years ago
Picked up in Nantes, France. Taste a lot like the 12yr to me which costs about the same but at least you get a full 750mls — 11 years ago
Great, smooth taste. Hints of caramel and toffee. Reminds me of a good scotch at the end. — 7 years ago
