I think the 2016 is even better! — 4 years ago
Phenomenal, sweet to be paired with spicy, possibly Asian cuisine — 5 years ago
Had this about a year ago. The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Aged well from a year ago. Good value! — 6 years ago
Slight petrol with lots of beautiful acidity. Pineapple, light honey, lavender — 7 years ago
Nice easy drinking herbal spicy wine. Good backbone and satisfying finish. — 7 years ago

Very cool old Greek wine! Semi translucent brick colour, sour cherry on the nose. Medium body, velvety round tannins, leathery, dried fruit, cooking herbs, maybe tomato? I've never had old Barolo but if I had to guess I think this would be similar. 🇬🇷💙 — 8 years ago
Bottled lightning. Concentrated mineral. Lemon, grapefruit pith, slate, honeyed pear, white flowers, sweet hay. — 2 years ago
So clean and balanced. Not a complex wine, but just a perfect balance of only a mild sweetness followed by minerality and mild acidity. A Golden Mean in all its flavors. White fruit flavors. A paradigm of Mosel Riesling. Extraordinary QPR. — 3 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is the Nik Weis Gefen Hashalom Ockfener Saar Riesling. This is a special Kosher bottling of a beautiful Kabinett Riesling, fresh and juicy with tropical fruit/tart pineapple and mineral on the back. — 6 years ago

Medium bodied and citrusy. Enjoy with garlicky clams. — 7 years ago
How to really stump someone in a blind tasting: 1) store a bottle of '69 Weis Leiwener Laurentiuslay Auslese in a box with lots of geuze for ages. 2) allow the wild yeast to enter the bottle and do its thing. 3) wait until you loose 1/4 of the wine through the cork as the pressure builds. 4) open under the table, with a serious 'pop' (to confuse the tasters). 5) serve this miraculously delicious sour 'petillant' (like a cross between a Belgian sour and a very good feinherbst) in riesling glasses. 6) bathe in the glorious confusion that ensues. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby. Dark sweet plum, salty and floral. The palate is med-full bodied, med acidity, soft-med tannin. There is a dark savoury element that gives the wine gravitas. Beautiful balance. Power without weight. Powerful and beautiful. — 2 years ago
Beautiful, fruity and full bodied. — 5 years ago
Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 5 years ago

Quite fragrant of stone fruit. The taste however started with quite a bit of seeetness than followed with an intense l min flavor mixed with peaches ... peachy lemons is the best way I can describe it. A little too sweet for my taste, but quite a surprising mix of flavors that I found it quite enjoyable.

After only ten years, this one had lost some of its zing; it was a little earthy, but still full of acidity. Paired it with cherry almond cheesecake, and it didn’t have the upfront burst of sweetness to stand up properly. — a year ago
