Intense red color, red fruit taste with some vanilla notes. Quite OK on its own as well together with red meat snacks and game. — 8 years ago

They pick these vineyards with 5-6 different passes through the vineyards. 2004 was the first vintage Nicosia and Adrianna vineyard fruit two years later they started bottling them separate. A big and chewy but still very balanced with a long layered finish violet and dark spices a long layered finish. — 11 years ago
Powerful aroma with a bit of alcohol, yet a mild, elegant and complex flavor. — 9 years ago

I love the Nero based Sicilians, big flavor, pairs well with meats. Molto bene! — 11 years ago
— 8 years ago
— 9 years ago

So the waitress was a little tricky in selling us a $30 wine but it ended up being a really good wine. Sometimes I really wonder about why US regular tasting wines, wines that are just good to drink, have to cost that much money. I wish our wines could be not so pretentious and just a part of the culture that we just drink them like special juice. — 11 years ago
