Paired well with braised pork chops in mustard gravy and red wine vinegrette salad. Tasty and not overpowering. — 8 years ago
Negroamaro from the heel... Not quite as we remembered it from L'Angolo Divino in Rome, but we were already a few bottles deep at that time. Thanks for bringing this to NYC Jules! — 9 years ago

Terrific wine, floral, sweet, full bodied and well rounded. Perfect for steak. — 9 years ago
Full, inky, chewy, soft but strong tannins. Beautiful wine but would be tough to pair with anything but barbecue. Probably best after dinner with cheese, chocolate, dried fruits. — 9 years ago
Great full bodied wine. Nice nose-- berries — 10 years ago
Great, smooth — 10 years ago
This dark Italian has black cherry and raspberry on the nose, with a solid grounding in soil. Spices and herbs decorate the aroma profile, with allspice and anise predominant. On the palate, it's a bold showing of dark fruit and currant accompanied by a savory, black olive edge. Those savory notes last long into the generous finish. — 7 years ago
Surprised me as a new addition to the home "don't think twice, pull cork" shelf — 8 years ago

On the nose, more concentration in the fruits. Black raspberries, raspberries, cherries, strawberries, watermelon, chewing gum and pink roses & florals. Palate is richer/thicker, more concentrated than the Masseria. Cherries, strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, well done chalkiness...not over done, fine medium intensity volcanic minerals with a rich, round, ripe, beautiful acid finish. Delicious. — 7 years ago
