Great wine. Sweet but not too sweet. Strong, fruity smell, “lychee” like taste — 5 years ago
**1 day open** Very acidic, slightly funky. — 6 years ago
‘Wine w/ a prickle” it states on the label.... perhaps “a tickle” would be more appropriate. Simple and bone dry. Perfect w/ the creaminess of Kumamoto’s. — 7 years ago
Needed a few hours of air. Very tart fruit, pepper, earth, sage, outstanding. Feels young despite 11 years. Still one of the best ca wineries. — 9 months ago
Velvety, delicate and tobacco/leather type of nose. Paired with heritage pork chops and roasted veg. Perfect vino. — 4 years ago

Dazzling 70s lampshade orange hue, with a pronounced nose of peach and ginger, jasmine and spice. Each sip tickles the palate echoing its perfumed nose, and yet maintains an impressive level of couth complexity, revealing evermore as it sashays towards the back of my throat. This is a sexxxy wine. A sophisticated wine. Acidity, minerality and tannin come together in a waxy state of bliss. Have with lemon and herb roasted chicken, carrot purée and Django Rheinhardt. — 5 years ago
Got my hands on a ‘14, excited b/c the blend changes each vintage; 79% Chardonnay, 8% Viognier, 5% Grenache Blanc, 5% Marsanne, 2% Muscat, and 1% Roussanne aged in 40% new French oak for 9 mos. Bright straw, aromas of stone & tropical fruits with floral spice. The palate shows flavors of white peach, melon and apple with hints of lemon zest and honeysuckle. The wine is well balanced with integrated oak, crisp, lively acidity and a long finish ending with a mineral edge. — 7 years ago
