this is my one my favorites from Calera, great but I think would benefit by a couple more years of aging — 4 years ago

The color and nose painted a promising picture but there wasn't much structure left. it was still pleasurable to drink. Just a few years past it's peak.. — 6 months ago
1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color. Interesting nose with metallic, medicinal tones that tingled my nose. Wine has massive strawberry and cassis; and is sweeter than I was expecting. Very concentrated. The tannins reduce with ample air and the spicy aspects dissipate with time as well making it more approachable. Medium finish. — 3 years ago
Most Burgundian of all Californian pinots in my opinion. Showing restraint in alcohol 14.1. Strawberry, raspberry nose and taste, medium weight, good burn. Volnay like. — 5 years ago
Tomato nose, forest floor, my kinda boy. — 5 years ago
Idk anything about it. But, it’s great. — 6 years ago
Terrific purity in this quintessential Napa Cab. Decanted for about 2 hrs. Dark red and blue fruit, currant, mint and fresh flowers. Powerful yet elegant. Mr Carpenter made something special at a reasonable price point. — 9 years ago

2019 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 3 hours. Medium-heavy body. Plenty of dark fruits in the nose. Brooding and taut with graphite and refined mineral influence topped with black plum coulis. 12.7.23. — 5 months ago
