Essentially the Cerasuolo but aged in clay pots underground. Pretty intense difference between the two. This is way soft and suple on the nose, but has some hilighted bitterness on the finish... I think that this should probably be decanted for some amount of time. — 11 years ago

The wine exhibits a similar timbre to a hi-hat in a mid-tempo jazz quartet performance. Brassy-gold in the glass, it shines as if polished. Velvet smoth mouthfeel drenched with ripe jonagold apple is sporadically interrupted by a sizzle of acidity laced with notes of lemon miringue.
