An excellent rum from Nicaragua. The story goes that Nicaragua is active volcanically and much of the sugar cane is affected by the old lava fields infusing minerality into the molasses and caramel notes. In any event a lovely smooth rum. Will now work on the 12 year old! — 8 years ago

Brown sugar, molasses, butterscotch, caramel, toffee nuts, orange peel. It's like candy. This would be great over pancakes or ice cream as well. Nice pairing well with Cari's tasty Pot de Creme. Thank you for a great evening and dinner. — 8 years ago
