KW Ranch Syrah

Inky dark in color, this wine has a molasses and cherry nose with clove, cinnamon, and cedar palate. The finish is mostly acid with lingering pencil lead. Alcohol comes through a little too heavy throughout. This is a tightly wound Syrah that might soften a little with some age.

Inky dark with molasses nose. In the mouth you get more molasses, dark cherry, and spice. Chewy tannins and nice acid in the finish. A big Syrah that seems to be mellowing with age.

Bright and brash, spicy fruit with moderate acid. Tangy finish.

Molasses, burnt sugar, and cherry nose. In the mouth you get dark cherry, cinnamon and clove with a broad acid finish.

Definite woodsy taste, though complex with a slightly bitter after taste. Very good
