Seriously delicious. The most memorable cab franc I have had. — 6 years ago
We normally don't care for whites, but we like this one. Light & smooth. — 6 years ago

Great blackberry and vanilla flavor! — 8 years ago
Really dark and rich. Almost drinks like a port. Enjoying this over a couple of days. Great value — 7 years ago
The 2006 Rusty Shed Chardonnay is a blend of four blocks of Chardonnay on the Flat Rock Property. Grapes are hand picked and hand sorted before whole bunch pressing takes place. It was then cold settled in stainless steel, 100% barrel fermented and left on the lees for 10 months. Wild and commercial yeasts were used for primary fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation to soften the natural acidity. The result?
Beautiful example of a mid to full bodied Chardonnay with butter, vanilla, apples and light spice on the palate. A lot of flavour and elegance at this price point. Sampled this 2006 in 2017 but this should sit well and perhaps develop more for a few more years. Best part? It's from Niagara! Loved it!

Leather, old shoes, toffee on the nose
Salt, burnt sugar and barrel.
Palate is the seashore, brine, loooong finish, very umami. Perfect with sardine and tomato toasts. — 4 years ago
The winery is located in Aymavilles with the cellar lying one mile from Monte Bianco tunnel. Ruby with aromas fresh red fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of strawberry and sweet cherry with tea and black pepper. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and spice. Nice! Drink young, no aging benefit. Good value! — 4 years ago
Really lovely and super light. Berries and pepper. Accessible and balanced. Great value. — 6 years ago
Light and fruity. Almost an effervescent quality. Lime zest and tartness come through on the finish. — 6 years ago

One of the better Rieslings I've tried. Minerals. Earthy. Orange.
So. Good. — 8 years ago
What a wine!!! Mayacamas fruit, at 2640 elevation. 275 case offering. Poured a purple color in the glass with a dense youthful blackberry pie nose. The entry shows youthful chalkiness. Dense and thick. Beautiful now, expressing rather early on the palate but probably more of my kind of wine in a couple of years when this wine integrates a bit more. Finishes with lighter black pepper (provoked with pot roast). Youthful oak barrel tannin. QUITE enjoyable. QPR is quite nice as I don't think this one was north of 50 bucks. — 8 years ago

Has a roasted red color to it. The nose is velvety, nutty, and tart. On first sip, I get deep red fruit flavors with some smoke and pepper. Some mulling spices almost. I'm getting black currant, cherry, hint of honey. Has like a cedar taste on the back of it it. It's complex but smooth. Very little tannins. — 4 years ago
