2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 8 years ago

The 2021 Chardonnay Belle Côte is a wine of tremendous density and power. Orchard fruit, dried pear, graphite, anise and dried flowers infuse the 2021 with tremendous flavor complexity. Readers will find an intensely mineral, savory Chardonnay with the fruit pushed into the background. Belle Côte is the original Chardonnay planting at Peter Michael. Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 2 years ago
An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 3 years ago

This 11 year old Napa Cabernet is delicious now. Rich and elegant.
Complex nose with lots of black fruits. Really nice.
Showing blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf and herbs.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
93 points.

A blend of 90% Sauv Blanc and 10% Semillon. Pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, floral, wet stone and tropical fruit. On the palate rich fruits of mango and peach flavors with citrus zest and earthy mineral notes on a balanced structure with lively fresh acidity. Long finish, pleasant ending with pronounced mineral character. Leave this in the cellar for a few years. Nice. Tasting Sample. — 10 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Ruby color, slight purple edges, with aromas of red fruits, forest floor, floral and smoky spice, aged in 50% new French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with cedar notes, tea, cola, black pepper, cinnamon spice and earthy herbs, very complex. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and a spicy earthy character. Needs more bottle time, will age well! Pair this with a grilled salmon or maple glazed pork chop! — 7 months ago
