Stalwart #assyrtiko, a bit shy on the nose, faint lemon, white peach, lemon, delicious mineral acidity on the palate, first-rate pairing with crab cakes and Caesar salad. — a year ago
My first taste of this native Greek white grape. Lemony golden color. Lemon is also the dominant aroma and flavor of this wine. Additional notes of white flowers, nuts and honey. Crunchy minerality and a bit of saline on the long and creamy finish. Possibly some lees aging? Bright acidity and a bit of effervescence. A bit sharp right out of the bottle (possibly a bit oxidated) but the wine softened quickly. Interesting. — 2 years ago

Vintage 2014 | WOTN and quite a surprise. Most tasters thought this to be Bordeaux. I even heard: Pomerol. I was hesitant to set this in a blind tasting, not sure it would deliver. So I tasted this before with La Dominique 14 next to it. No problem at all. This is such a great effort. A real ‘trouvaille’! See earlier notes. Rich wine. Authentic Greek grape with 24 months barrel aging on new oak. Try to find it and be surprised. — 8 months ago
