Mantinia Moschofilero
Mantinia, Peloponnisos, Greece
Tasted 02/10/2016
Drinkable, aromatic and fresh 100% Moschofilero grapes from Mantineia estate (PDO). Unfortunately can't name it best I had
Dense straw yellow, murky yellow tints.
Pleasantly fragrant nose of pear lemonade, herbs (oregano and mint), kumquat, ripe yellow plum, melon.
Lively and harmonious palate of medium body, noticeable acidity. Yellow plum, yellow apple, medlar, pomelo, white raspberry flavors
Finishes slowly with slightly herbaceous yellow plum and unripe melon.
Paired cuttlefish baked with spinach.
