2011. The nose is full of red berries, with a dark flair. Raspberry, cherry, and red currant are met with Grahm’s signature savoriness of roasted meat, beef jerky and black olive tapenade. The sip reveals that the ‘11 Cigare is a festival of darkness. The savory aspects come forward in a rush. The forest floor, the olive, the spice - all are cloaked in a dark fruit setting. Black plums, currant and berries work hard to mesh with the wine's earthy character. The acidity is remarkable and the tannic structure is firm. — 11 years ago

Bought this to drink amongst the vines. A crazy blend of gren PS and Syrah. Life changer blend. Hope some more intriguing of these start coming about. A bit jammy with a nice smoked meat flavor and a red black fruit mesh. Lengthy finish. — 11 years ago

Deep purple colour. Nose of moss, blueberries, cherries and black pepper. Medium bodied, juicy, cool and fresh, firm cherry and berry fruit, a touch of slightly bitter herb and plum on the finish, fine mesh of tannin and lively acidity. Nicely composed, very drinkable. — 12 years ago
