After 22 years my hopes were not high. Wow. Just as good, if not better than when I tasted it for the first time at Merryvale back in the 90s...when I bought this bottle.
Crisp. Tart, but not overly so. A perfect champagne for someone who dislikes your general run-of-the-mill champagne. — 11 years ago
Fruity and dry, full bodied. Very good — 12 years ago
Ferrari-Carano was my introduction to upscale Cabernets. Though it came from an off year in Napa vintage-wise, this aged beautifully, and had a lot more fruit present than expected. We did a side by side with an 06 Merryvale, and the 3 extra years of age was immediately noticeable. Always a great, classy bottle to gift. — 13 years ago
Aged fantastically! Nice dried dark cherry, gets better as it opens up. — 11 years ago
Just enough oak. Easy drinking and delicious! — 11 years ago

This was an incredible Profile from 1997 that went down as smooth as water. Can't believe it has held up as long as it has but it was worth it — 11 years ago
Woody, spicy with perfect tannins. — 11 years ago
