Ferrari-Carano was my introduction to upscale Cabernets. Though it came from an off year in Napa vintage-wise, this aged beautifully, and had a lot more fruit present than expected. We did a side by side with an 06 Merryvale, and the 3 extra years of age was immediately noticeable. Always a great, classy bottle to gift. — 12 years ago

After 22 years my hopes were not high. Wow. Just as good, if not better than when I tasted it for the first time at Merryvale back in the 90s...when I bought this bottle.
Crisp. Tart, but not overly so. A perfect champagne for someone who dislikes your general run-of-the-mill champagne. — 10 years ago

Nice Malbec! On the nose, black currant, blackberry, cherry, tobacco. On the palate, robust tannins, plum, blackberry, blueberry, and a tobacco leaf finish. — 9 years ago
