A bit too "sage" for its young age. — 10 years ago
smooth, complex, & fun. Nice floral notes; not over-malty. Well done boys! — 11 years ago

phenomenal pairing with homemade Poulet aux 40 Gousse d'Ail. complex. definitely let breathe and enjoy slowly through the meal. dry, mega tannins. love this vintage! — 9 years ago
Huge nose. 80 year old vines average age. Mega menthol, leafy, tree, resin, pine, spice, flowers. Absurd depth. Rich, grapey yet structured. It has energy but it wound up and can be so much more expressive. Very mineral.
Day 2 - beefy meaty nose. Floral. Darker. Vigorous. Animal. Forests. Terrific purity and depth. Unreal balance and acidity. Just so fresh and vivid. Black cherry. Sappy. So complex. Echoes. Incredible. — 9 years ago
At Jamie's Italian... Mega! Fruity with a dark edge, not heavy — 11 years ago
Super mega delicious! RPM 2011 Gamay — 12 years ago
Powerfully crafted, this 'Mega' Syrah from Paso Robles shows a muscular palate and complex texture. Probably still too youthful for a proper assessment but yet intriguing and very magnetic. Can drink now or keep for at least 20 years due to it natural acidity and concentration — 9 years ago
Interesting. Like a Port but unlike any Port I've had. Chocolate but also a hint of dried apricot and maybe even mint and clove. Bouquet if rosemary and oregano, really. — 9 years ago
great bang had it would not been for the retail restaurant mega mark up — 10 years ago
#2 on night, despite the mega 16.2% alcohol... Nose was awesome, intensely spicy, peppery, floral and sweet-fruited. Violets and pepper laden with caramel cherry and blackberry jam! Obviously quite hot on palate, spicy and fruity, but nowhere near the caliber of the nose. Still, I could just smell it all night... — 10 years ago
Mega yum! Chocolate covered cherries with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. Not too fruity but juicy. — 11 years ago
