A delightful Pinot. On the nose graphite, smoke, licorice, and tart cherries. On the palate bright cherries, leather, dark berry medley, anise, sweet pipe tobacco, with hints of game. Zingy, something almost...Chardonnay-ish about it. Not in a bad way. I don't love it like I did the 2015 but I'd drink it again. It got those asparagus notes crossed with pear and apple. I like it. I miss 2015 but hey that's wine--every year is it's own thing — 8 years ago

Primarily (83%) Cabernet Sauvignon with some other Bordeaux varietals blended in. Pleasant aromas of violets, roses, black currant/black berry. Smells of fresh pressed honey crisp apples - skin and all..
Cocoa, mint, fresh ground coffee, darkness lies in this wine in so many ways. So many wonderful ways. Dense and thick, tingling acidity, with well engulfed tannins.
