They’ve solved Fiano! Who knew? Appassimento method applied to this grape is absolutely delicious. It starts with a honeydew kick in the teeth before reminding you this is still a bad ass acidic Italian beast. What a solid contribution to the wine world! — 6 years ago
Bright Fanta orange, tannic — 7 years ago
Lemon in colour. Notes of Orange peel and Quince on nose and palate. Medium to full bodied. Refreshing uncomplicated drinking. The base wine, Grillo, used in Sicily for the fortified Marsala - a style that has fallen out of favour in recent times. Tasted again 30 weeks later on 10th May 2019 with consistent notes as above. Tasted again on 9th October 2019 with consistent notes. Also notes of old apples and quince as previous. A delicious Mediterranean white and excellent QPR. — 8 years ago
Great wine for pizza night. Tried this at Copa Wine Bar. — 5 years ago
This Abruzzo white wine is tinted yellow. It smells of citrus, mostly - Meyer lemon, lime and tangerine. There is also an earthy aroma like that of apricots. The apricot note is more noticeable on the palate, with all that citrus coming along for the ride. The acidity is quite fresh, very refreshing. The finish is medium and carries apricot and salinity, along with the Meyer lemon. — 5 years ago

Delicious orange at sager and Wilde — 5 years ago
Part 1 of a Columbia county weekend w/friends: a surprisingly rs leaning Sicilian white- accent on the white flowers & fruit, lower on acid. Never tasted this varietal. Rather a broad mouthfeel that went well w local charcuterie, cheese, & jaw dropping tomato salad w garden basil. This vintner makes also a spry Nero D’Avola. — 5 years ago

Dark, almost purple in color. Nose of dark cherry, spice, coffee and tobacco. Smooth, silky palate of dark fruit, plum coffee and tobacco. Well structured, smooth, long finish and obvious but not intrusive oak. — 4 years ago
