Such an interesting wine...not in the same league as the Marnes Bleues, but still pretty. Nose with distinct minerality, something really fresh like clean linen, orange peel, slight peppery spice, tiny hint of fennel? light on the jura funk though! The Viognier is evident so, yes, I can say licorice but of a gentle sort. Smooth comes to mind as the namesake marnes gives this a bit of mineral. A great bargain, I'd say. — 10 years ago
