Sylvia Esmonin's 06 Gevry Chambertin- young as ever, tannins softened, but the wine itself doesn't show many signs of age. Bold dark boysenberry or Marionberry is indicative of her late picks that have somewhat of a cola type finish. — 8 years ago
Cranberry, cherry, marionberry, mineral, sous bois. Med body, med + acid, but ripe fruit and not at all austere. Something for both CA Pinot and Burgundy fans. — 9 years ago
Fabulous!!! Christmas dinner with prime rib. marionberry fruit and white pepper and a warm spiciness - bit of nutmeg. New world/old world bridge kind of wine. — 9 years ago
Blackberry, marionberry, bramble, vanilla and pie crust. Drinking nicely for something so young, can't wait to see it in 10 years. — 9 years ago
Hallelujah! This thing has suprising lasted despite my lack of patience. Fnally broke down, curious how time has changed this magical creature. Where it once was as jammy as marionberry preserves it's now smoky. Where it once was inky as all imagination it is now bone dry and tannic. Still it's neat to see this cool climate Syrah grow into something more akin to a Walla Walla valley. Will grab your palate so accompany with fatty foods. — 9 years ago
Black raspberries, marionberry compote, cacao, truffle, plant stems, barnyard, pottery soil, violets. Excellent acidity/gripping dusty-velvet tannins, juicy texture, light bodied yet weighty feel, long smoky, earthy slightly bitter finish. Lots of complexity, excels beyond price point. Last vintage from this producer. — 10 years ago
Marionberry, black cherries, bell pepper, rocks, pottery soil, iron, dried mint, vanilla bean. Excellent acid/smooth velvet tannin balance, silky texture, long smoky herbal finish. — 10 years ago
Rainier cherry and marionberry on the nose. Over the course of one glass a distinct cherry and rhubarb pie with graham cracker crust has emerged. Plenty of earth on a lingering finish. Could use some cellaring to show well upon opening. Excellent. — 11 years ago

Marionberry, earth, med body, fine tannin — 7 years ago
A pretty wine. Good intensity to the marionberry and cherry fruit, with interesting loamy undertones. Finishes a bit spicy. — 8 years ago
Rose, cranberry, marionberry; very aromatic. Med - body, high acid. Better with a slight chill and with food. Engaging, cerebral wine. — 9 years ago
Marionberry jam, smoke, and leather on the nose. Nice peppery palate, a bit of cranberry. Wonderful. — 9 years ago
3 liter, boredom beater!!!
Aconcagua Valley Syrah. Dripping with cherry pepper, teriyaki savor, blueberry, marionberry and unpretentious character — 9 years ago
Hearty, thick, robust, marionberry, eucalyptus, wood. Favorite Crianza so far! — 9 years ago
Fruit-forward with blackberry, marionberry, and cassis, with secondary characteristics of pepper, leather and earth. Silky tannin, fairly extracted, med + finish. Unmistakably new world, in a good way. — 10 years ago
Rich dark fruit with a little leather and tobacco on the nose. Opaque dark crimson in color. Very smooth. Blackberry and marionberry are first to come across the the pallet. Frim but elegant. Great all the way through with barrel spice to round out the finish. Finish is bright and clean. Great now but cant wait to taste it in 5 years. — 10 years ago
Smooth and perfectly balanced and not too sweet — 11 years ago
This wine has some of the prettiest aromas: rose petals mixed with wet stone opening with blue berry preserved, crushed espresso and dark chocolate. On the palate this wine expands on the fruit, continuing with blue berries as well as raspberry and marionberry. The tannins round out the fruit with dark chocolate flavors and a high level of acidity. This is a wine meant for the cellar. Although enjoyable now, it should hold up easily for the next decade. — 11 years ago
Marionberry, chocolate and Blueberry jam nose. Smoked Sokeye salmon, peppercorn, abv @ 15% noticeable but not completely distracting. — 8 years ago
A fresh version of the grape. On the nose, chanterelle-tinged cherry and raspberry fruit. The palate is decidedly brighter, with cherry and marionberry fruit accented by a hint of spicy oak. — 8 years ago
Raspberry, lavender, unruled marionberry, subtle spice. — 8 years ago
Berry cider, delicious - get again! — 9 years ago
Smells like fresh ground coffee and clove. A beautiful delicateness of weight leading into very fine tannins. Blackberry, plum, marionberry lead the way with a gradual escalation of acidity. Nothing for the fuck of it, I ain't with the sucker shit — 9 years ago
Tart cherry, raspberry and marionberry flavors with a finish of fresh black pepper and faint green olive. Medium minus tannin, racy acidity and modest abv (12.5). Worth laying down for a few more years — 9 years ago
09 drinking beautifully. I taste chocolate, Marionberry. Yummy!!! — 10 years ago
