First lunch in Venice and first taste of this white. Oesteria di Santa Marina. Lemon zest acidic minerals on nose carrying through to palate with a bite that lasts through long finish. Excellent — 10 months ago

2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. Paired with mushroom and spring onion mayonnaise. — 2 days ago
