Very nice wine. Improves with some aeration. — 10 years ago
Wow, a marvelous and unexpected quartet of "white" wines (including white no skin Pinot Noir!) that makes for a spectacular blend, more like avant garde string quartet than a rock band, with dazzling aromatics and a plush structure from Pinot Blanc. My first time tasting Marcus Goodfellow's wines at Matello. The fact he also finds Viognier & Syrah in North Willamette and crafts remarkably true to terroir wines makes this a winery to follow! — 11 years ago

Blackberries and dark cherries on the nose. Light to medium tannins. Very balanced with smooth mouthfeel and a nice finish. I would buy this again. LCFanFave — 8 years ago

Motto Bene! Elegant and long legged. A simply beautiful wine. It's class and velvet finish is reminiscent of watching Sophia Lorenz slowly walk down an Amalie Coast beach! Yeah...sexy beyond belief this wine is. Full bodied, supple dark cherry fruit with an every so light earthy tobacco finish. She a star! — 10 years ago
Our table of BCWAS insiders were anxiously waiting to try this Syrah from one of Canada's newest Masters of Wine. I'm thinking that drinking it on its own with a big hunk of meat would bring out the complexity more than getting a small pour after 7 other wines.
Will watch for this new entrant on the Okanagan scene tho. — 11 years ago

I was at the winery many years ago the day that Sophia Coppola was up for her Oscar for Lost in Translation. I always thought of this as just a brand before that, but watching the tasting room volunteers beam with pride that day reminds me that the wine truly comes from the people that produce it. I know that sounds cheesy. I saw this in the liquor store for a decade before I bought it years ago. And now that many, many years have passed since those early wine years for me, I look at this wine fondly. Which is really what wine is all about. — 8 years ago

If I didn't know better, I'd think I was smelling actual perfume. Very light body and medium-plus acidity. Tart cherry. To simplify, I feel like I'm chewing flowers or ingesting the air in the cosmetics department at Neiman Marcus. Still, different than anything I've had before and I'd be interested in pairing it with food. — 10 years ago

Otroligt pigg och frisk! Citrus, äpplen och mineralitet dominerar. En gnutta ursprungstypiskt oxiderad. Smarr — 10 years ago
There is an Italian sale on in the O Briens library.. This is export is up there with the Godfather, Zola, Parma Ham, Pavorotti, Paresse and Sophia Loren... It enters the taste chamber and dances on every part of the tongue.. I love oak but this bit of juice is full of taste poke. It covers berries and spice with no oak, it's light, bright, sprite and is keeping the Baroness content and bright.. Bacchus should place the Jesuit AMDG across the label... Exceptional value also... Striking fresh ripe black currant at the start, with dryer tobacco notes from the glass, cranberry from the close up and an amazing evolution — 7 years ago
