Deep color, great structure and tannins. A very good red wine not well known but one of my favorites. — 2 years ago

1st time to drink Marco Felluga’s reds. Loved the balance of the fruit and how approachable it was to drink. Quite impressed!! — 6 years ago

One encounter with an ex-château bottle suggested that the 1966 Lynch-Bages is not to be overlooked. Deep in color, it has a tempting nose that unfolds gradually in the glass, graphite and cedar commingling with crushed stone and red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a firm entry, very cedary with touches of desiccated orange peel. It's a bit conservative on the finish, though that is a leitmotif of the 1966 vintage. Well-preserved bottles should still be giving pleasure. Tasted at the Lynch Bages vertical. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2023) — 2 years ago

Unusual aromatic nose and fresh, dry, taste. Slightly confusing but equally satisfying. — 6 years ago
Fresh. 🍏 🍋❤️ Oxidized; but this is why I love it. #oxidationbeatsvaandmouseanyday — 7 years ago
Floral, honeysuckle, stone fruit, hits of tropical fruit, touch of oxidation. Long finish, med acid — 7 months ago
Pale lemon in colour. Herbal, with a bit of petrol, and lime on the nose. Fresh sage, gooseberry, and soft fennel notes on the palate. Medium acidity with the fennel/licorice lingering on the palate, coming around to ripe mandarins. — 5 years ago
Put it on the table every night. — 7 years ago

Had this at mockingbird in Oakland. Loved it. Some floral notes also slightly peppery. Fairly full bodied — 8 years ago

2023, 30 min in with a medium rare steak: great addition. Fine balance matching the subtle tenderness of the meat. Enjoying it. — 4 months ago
