I was not familiar with Roy, but was luckily persuaded to pick this signed bottle up a while back. Looking for something off the norm for the Christmas traditional Italian Beef Braciole, and this big blend from Shirley Roy and planted by Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer, and made by that guy that keeps on making most of the wines they I love...Philippe Melka. So glad I bought this, but also so mad that I only got the one...ignoring my usual mantra...buy 3. One to try, one to share, and one to squirrel away for yourself. Earthiness is there, without being too dirty. More like a truffle. 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot. Deep dark color and dark fruits with a bit of cocoa and oak. After 2 1/2 hours in decanter, it was nothing less than ...Impressive. — 9 years ago
I love Carlisle, but if the mantra that they all need tons of rest holds true then that goes double for this one. Day 2 and it's just starting to open up and give a peak. Will hold another 5 years before I check in again. — 10 years ago

A well-earned creamy cherry bomb after two hours of workout mania. Creating space within the chaos is my mantra these days. I feel fit, I feel good, I feel happy after mentally bashing in the face of evil with my knuckles, then soothing my soul with a little hip hop. My Pink-and-Imagine Dragons-only playlist is making me want to keep the dance party going all night. Great Rose. Total Wine. — 8 years ago

Um pouco caro, pensa-se de início, mas quando ele respira e nós desapegamos da relação custo-benefício, revela-se todo potencial. — 9 years ago

Ligeiramente superior na lembrança que o Cabernet Sauvignon. — 9 years ago
Smooth, chocolatey & earthy with just the right amount of oak and spice. Beautiful with food or on its own. Would happily have this anytime! Highly recommend. — 10 years ago
Like the beautiful wines that came with the warmth of 2012, this Pinot holds those characteristics in addition to Authentique's signature wine making as it should be instead of the mass produced stuff. If you like a Pinot that has character, aromas that are balanced alongside the oak mantra - this is a must. 2012 Pinots are a dime a dozen, yet this one reminds me of that elegant lady we remember for a long time afterwards. — 11 years ago
