Perfectly balanced. Fruity, well-suspended sediment gives this wine a gentle pepper. Sweet finish. Delightful in every way. Got it for €99 at a restaurant. Experiencing this wine was like sharing a yurt or very small bed with a Jennifer Connelly aged somewhere between The Labyrinth and Requium for a Dream. Savoring this blend was one of the red wine highlights of the month. That cherry, cow dung, earthy, wilted flower, rubber door mat, cigar and prune flavor of fine, aged CDP...Almost like sharing an igloo in the remote arctic with Jennifer Connelly and having to hold on to each other tightly for warmth. — 8 years ago

Pale gold. Fresh melon, nectarine and pear on the highly perfumed, mineral- and lees-accented nose. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering an array of concentrated yet vibrant orchard and pit fruit flavors and suggestions of lemon pith, gingery spices and toasted grain. Shows real energy and nervy cut on the impressively long finish, which features a sexy floral nuance and an exotic touch of saffron. This is the sleeper of the night. Opened it to say hello but I'd definitely said goodbye to us and shut the door in our face. We revisited 3 hours later and there was a welcome Mat on the front Palate which stated "Welcome!".
Absolutely insane. Its transformation was insane. Beautifully integrated. The nose of the Night was a toss up between this and another. Incredibly earthy, leather, dark fruit & what a finish it was. Lance Armstrong didn't have this much stamina. Front, Mid & Back Palate . This is firing on all cylinders & we continuously revisited this one through the entire night.
