Very smooth, easy to drink - but flavorful. 2018 — 2 years ago
Aged southern Rhône plateauing I think. Garique nose. Red fruits on the palate, a bit stewed. I notice rosebottle, figs and wild strawberries. Medium acidity keeps it al in balance. Tertiary flavours all around: sunburnt dirt, leather, smoke, some tobacco, forest leaves. Medium long finish. Lovely wine. — 4 years ago
Great for the price. — 5 years ago
Wow! Just wow! Brick colored Pinot wine looked toast but smelled amazing, full of cherries like Rainer and subtle tones of bees wax. Beautiful fruit soft and aged and mature for sure but damn! This is burgundy — 2 years ago
There are years where the fickleness of the weather prevent the even ripening of all the grapes on the bunches, and as the grapes cannot be harvested before the stems themselves fully ripen, on these years any extra ripe grapes will detach themselves from the stem while on the “table de tri”(sorting table). Since the traditional Burgundy vinification methods require the grapes to be fermented “entière” (in whole bunches) the loose berries are not used, despite being wonderfully ripe. — 5 years ago
Love it. Nice body light for syrah — 5 years ago
Melon and grapefruit. Light body, balanced finish. — 6 years ago
Wow. Beautiful nose from the start but the excellent somm unusually suggested a decant on this pinot noir, to our benefit. Cherry dominant and very nice 1er crú — 2 years ago
This plays in the burgundy big leagues at a fraction of the price. What a pleasure. With such wines they should really push less burgundy still wine in Champagne. — 2 years ago
Very nice, strong Rhone. Blackberries n a hint o cranberries. Not plum but complex dark red fruit. Doesn’t seem as young as is. Smooth yet w an alco touch. — 6 years ago
