F Me Wine. Huh. Yup, this has me. Tobacco and oaky lovey goodness. Nothing about this wine says boring steady solid Barbera. It says, "Hey baby, let's make sweet sweet complex indigo berrilicious over and over grape love." And then you can't remember anything that is or was before. So Good. Can easily become my go-to over Macchia Mischievous. — 7 years ago

Tannins almost gone. Very complex taste, ripen yellow fruit caramel note at the end. Macchia Mediterranea. — 7 years ago
First Taurasi ever. I spent more than I normally would for an unfamiliar label but this was am outstanding $50.00 bottle of wine. Opened it on Friday & finished it off the following Tuesday and it was still very good. — 9 years ago
teso e tagliente come un rasoio, morbido e avvolgente, rotondo e allo stesso tempo duro, granitico, fiori bianchi e frutta gialla, sapido, minerale, ricorda il timo e la macchia mediterranea, lungo e molto persistente. — 9 years ago

With Collin. Nice finish. Creamy, full body. — 7 years ago
Gran grechetto. Naso di frutta gialla matura e tropicale, note burrose, croissant, pasticceria qualche lieve sentore erbaceo, di macchia mediterranea. Bocca sountuosz, grasso e con una bella acidità, lunga persistenza e note tostate — 7 years ago
Big dark berries and chocolate that smack you in the face. High abv but not noticeable or hot at all. — 8 years ago
Great value wine. Complex but opens with time. Give it some time to breathe for the hints of blackberry to show — 9 years ago
Bold Sangiovese fruit dominates this enjoyable & very nicely priced Tuscan $17 — 9 years ago

First Chianti style spent money on. Pretty good definite tomato and acid. This one has tannins as I’ve come to expect from macchia.
