F Me Wine. Huh. Yup, this has me. Tobacco and oaky lovey goodness. Nothing about this wine says boring steady solid Barbera. It says, "Hey baby, let's make sweet sweet complex indigo berrilicious over and over grape love." And then you can't remember anything that is or was before. So Good. 2013. Very pure, fresh and crunchy. Classic sangiovese red cherries and macchia mediterranea. A bit biscuity - coming from merlot, supposedly. Light-to-medium body, focused and balanced. Unfussy but utterly moreish. — 9 years ago
