Incredibly aromatic nose of honeysuckle, lychee and white peaches. Palate is refined and delicious. Pure. Finishes dry. — 9 years ago
Rich in aroma, flavor, and texture. The oak was there but what caught my attention more was the white floral and lychee notes. On the palate it's dense, extremely pure, with a huge finish that shows acidity buried down deep in the wine. Great stuff if you can try it, a benchmark from one of the greatest sites in Condrieu! — 9 years ago
drink it now! honey, crushed rocks, lychee, honey dew, kiwi, all singing in beautiful harmony, but probably for only a few more years. — 10 years ago
Amazing spice on the nose with petrol, Apple spice, minerals and lychee nut. Big apple spice, peach and petrol on the palate, with a great baked apple lingering finish. Great stuff. Worked well with curry. — 10 years ago

Like any good gewurtz, it's very lychee driven. There's barley honey and Meyer lemon in there, which brings in some acidity. But there's a strange zip at the back of the throat. A slightly funky sting, almost like a strong blue. That's not a bad thing, just rather interesting. Would recommend more for meals than drinking with friends — 9 years ago
Beautiful notes of lime, honeysuckle and lychee. Perfect pairing with a fig tart. Tart with medium acidity. — 10 years ago
Very rich, subtle rose aroma but predominant lychee flavours both carry and enrich this wine. — 10 years ago
Gorgeous lavender, lychee aromas with hints of rose petals & cashews. Lovely elegant mouthfeel. Seamless waves of fruit and subtle acidity make it well rounded and balanced. Beautiful wine. — 11 years ago
Lychee notes, sweet but not too heavy, tastes distinctly like apples, slight butteriness to the finish, especially when paired with heartier food — 9 years ago
Our dinner for the evening. Beef-pork frankfurters with turmeric-jalapeño sauerkraut and Curry ketchup on a potato bun garnished with fennel seeds. Accompanied by a 1l, high acidity, lychee-finishing Alsatian white blend - 45% Riesling, 25% Pinot Blanc, 15% Gewürztraminer, 12% Pinot Gris, 3% Muscat. - DAY 2 - ø Nota Bene ø this is also an excellent wine to pair with sushi. The subtle interplay of flavor in traditional sushi really brings out the diversity evident in the blend. — 9 years ago
At this price point arguably the best Torrontes expression I've come across. Floral and citrus nose, broad mid palate with still sufficient acidity and some peach and even minty tones. The after taste however is the impressive part, boasting sufficient rose water and lychee impressions to challenge any self respecting Elzas Gewurtztraminer. Too bad for the hotness due to the high alcoholic content, and the bit of unpolished bitterness at the end, but again at that price point an impressive total package. — 9 years ago
Lychee town. Slight bitterness in finish. Could use some cellaring imo. Acids quite alright to balance sweetness. Classic Alsace Gewurtz. — 9 years ago
Delicious lychee bubbly fresh! — 10 years ago
One of my favourites, takes me right back to asia. Lychee, ginger and rose petals!! — 11 years ago
Pronounced intensity, with aromas of green bell pepper, asparagus, apricot, and freshly cut grass. On the palate, lychee, grapefruit, lemon, and bell pepper with a long finish. — 12 years ago
