Beautifully crafted Pinot — 11 years ago
Drinking great, captures what I often love in Santa Barbara Syrahs; CA sunshine in the fruit, generous without overbearing, balanced acids. Ripe black and blue fruit, almost liqueur-like, sweet spices, licorice whip, roasted coffee. Certainly NW in style but very well made. — 6 years ago

Still could use a little time. Much better on the second day. Lots of Pinot for the money! — 10 years ago
Good pallet weight and texture with moderate acid. Top notch Marlborough for the price. Crowd pleasing style. — 11 years ago
Richer than Sanford and Benedict, beautiful balance — 12 years ago
Cloves, cherries, petrol. Soft, round easy. A great Pinot for the money. $19.99 in PA. — 7 years ago
Nice acid, opens nicely — 7 years ago
Strawberry nose. Cooked strawberry in the glass. Low alcohol and classic California fruit. Fruit forward but well balanced with good acidity. A good one for a great price if you like this style. — 9 years ago
#gamey like a lamb kabob, #saltartyness like green olives, #dry like Cali in a drought year. Love it! — 11 years ago
Loving this, it's a Pinot with all the elements I love in Cayuse — 12 years ago

A favorite winery of mine... This one needs a little more bottle age, or a splash decant... A muted nose opened to crisp honeycomb apple, ginger root, and a toasty brioche character. Feels like bit of lees influence too. Round, layered, and soft on the palate with yellow apple, pear and melon rind. Bright acidity shines on the mid-palate with a limestone crouch to the finish. Hold this for a few more years. — 6 years ago
