Drinking great with years to go. Not even a hint of browning — 3 years ago
Great central coast Syrah from Michael Larner in Ballard Canyon. This area is overlooked snd should not be. This is a delicious, rich snd nuanced Syrah that you will enjoy. Get it if you can — 5 years ago
Dark, dense tannins, but very well integrated. Blackberries, tobacco, some underlying citrus characteristics. Can age for many years! — 5 years ago
Light garnet color. Very interesting nose and palate of red fruits, rose petals, dried herbs, black tea, bergamot and sweet baking spices. Hint of eucalyptus on the long, complex and earthy finish. Smooth tannins. Lively, bright and very well balanced. Nice concentration for a light bodied wine. Excellent! — a year ago

Such an interesting wine. So unexpected terroir mineral balance with pineapple pear fruit. Top notch! Tasted great with Santa Barbara uni, ikura, Toro and negi-hamachi! — 6 years ago

2021 vintage. Light-medium body but with more stuffing than encountered in the previous 6-7 vintages. Unanticipated frontal-palate richness. Expected, back-end, oomph without massive tannins. Pretty without being precious. Would love to throw this ringer in a Napa and/or BDX tasting. Phenomenal without the cloying weight of the usual suspects. Best Cabernet Sauvignon effort I’ve had from this winery. 01.29.25. — 9 months ago
