2nd vespolina I’ve had even better than the first ...beautiful fruit w just enough subtle Florality to create candy like-red fruit and balanced w dark settled spices... need more a lot more!! — 6 years ago
Tempranillo and 10% Syrah from vineyards in Tudela de Duero and aged for 16 months. Mauro was created in the 1970's by Luciano Suarez, specializing in the restoration of medieval monuments, and Felix Choque, cousin of Mariano Garcia, the former winemaker at Vega Sicilia. Flavors of raspberry and cherry some leather and earthy pepper. The wine had good balance with oak on fine tannins. Lingering finish ending with earthy tones. — 6 years ago
Taste of pepper which I'm not fond of, yet it paired very well with cheese. Pepper disappeared and the flavor melted in with the cheese. — 8 years ago
