Great bottle! No 🐞 problem with this one. Quite complex and in a very good way right now. — 5 months ago
Jammy and fruity, raspberry flavor, light and smooth, better whe let to breathe and paired with charcuterie. — 8 months ago
Silky smooth, soft fruits. Hint of leather, cherries - maybe strawberries. Beautiful. — 9 months ago
Nice red, black fruit and cola notes. Savory herbs and organic earth mid-palate and on the finish. High alcohol takes it out of balance a bit. Needs time. — 10 years ago
Tasting segundk dia la paulee en la colline con roumier au proxima añada — 2 months ago
Vivid pinkish-salmon hue with a fine stream of bubbles. Notes of strawberry, citrus peel, green apple, and brioche. Crisp acidity, a creamy mousse, and perfectly balanced dosage. Refreshing, elegant, and succulent, with a long, zesty finish. — 7 months ago
Excellent Pinot but I think inferior to the Tetarossa lineup — 6 months ago
Pretty impressive for a Pinot — 3 months ago
2021 vintage. Pleasant throughout and hit plenty of notes without screeching. The KB style has changed in the last few years. Gone are the mega-extracted pinots altho those are still around and holding up in the cellars/secondary market. Those older wines were a 10 on the volume scale. The last few vintages are closer to a 5. That said, this should hold up and develop nicely for a decade+ without issues. Those that don't think you can drink CA pinot noir over 4-5 years old are in for quite the surprise with quality producers. 04.18.25. — 4 months ago

As you can see from my previous Delectable notes I normally drink Mollydooker reds, particularly Carnival of Love, on cold nights in Winter. This certainly worked. Aromatics of black plum and other black fruits. The palate is ripe, sweet and full bodied - quite thick and textured. Has come together somewhat after 15 years but still a very powerful McLaren Vale Shiraz. Jeb Dunnuck’s comment of “full bore and hedonistic “ sums it up. This was the #2 wine in Wine Spectators Top 100 of 2012. — 2 months ago
