Having this side by side with the 2007 Lolita Ranch Pinot. We have two dishes duck confit and baked salmon with polenta. Both wines obviously amazing with confit and surprising pair well with the salmon
Fresh cut ripe plum and dark cherry, cola, still super youthful on the nose.
The palate is dense but silky, vanilla, mixed berries, cedar and tobacco. Bright and vibrant. The heavy oak influence carries it through its age. Definitely needs a chill as the alcohol is a little hot.
Glad I'm having this wine with age — 4 years ago

I think it because more balanced over time, so I'd recommend holding or decanting if drinking in the next year. — 4 years ago
This is a great entry to the established wine scene in BC and you truly want to buy it up... We first tried this at Como Taperia restaurant a week or two ago and have started buying it since. It's a wine for your cider-loving friends I think. Kettle Valley has been doing an orange Pinot Gris for a little bit but this one seems fuller I think. The style is all fruit, yeast, and summer. I really enjoyed it that first night with Spanish tapas, and it rolls equally well with BBQ at home. This is one to load up on for summer... And we have been... The brand and product is bang on. Well done! — 6 years ago
