From a 3 liter, about 10 years after "PD" suggested it was to be at its best. (This was a gift from my 21st birthday and the cork was beginning to show seepage so time to drink!). Seriously good stuff. The boozy side of Zin has settled, the structure and savory notes of the Petite Sirah and Mataro are emerging. Chablis meets Meursault with a fuller lean into each Chablis side. The most elegant of the 3 whites Tasted today including 2012 Napa Valley White Blend and 2012 Ribolla Gialla. Full on minerality and fluidly intense acids. Excellent on its own, should be epic with a sole meuniere or butter poached lobster. — 10 years ago
