Good but we didn't do it justice having it follow a Lioco Hirsch that had so much more zip and pushed the ripeness on this to the forefront... — 9 years ago

So young. Very tight, and this will be cashed before it really expresses itself. Delicious, none the less. 2011 vintage — 9 years ago
Shiny bright star being released this Tuesday! Beautiful honey suckle with notes of cashew. A true gem of LIOCO that we are so proud of. — 10 years ago
Delicious and super well balanced. This is ready to drink now but can withstand SOME aging. — 10 years ago
Was this good? Yes, yes it was. Was it great? It was pretty close. I applaud IPOB. It paired fantastically with pulled bbq chicken lettuce wraps and calabacitas. My only problem? The Lioco is a bit cheaper, and more to my taste. This was good though, and everyone liked it, which is more than you can say about most wines. It had a Burgundy feel to it, but more like a Bourgogne than being able to dial into a village or a vineyard. — 8 years ago
Pretty amazing this time around. Nice acidity, fresh nose; it is crisper and leaner than the Golden Slope. Does Liquid Farm make the best Chardonnay in CA? If they don't, it would have to be Lioco or Stony Hill. — 9 years ago

A selection of the amazing wines from the Lioco-Banshee dinner last night. This is the 2012 Marine Layer. — 10 years ago
Great for an everyday wine when it is hot. Smells of green apple and honey, but relaxes quick with a non oaky buttery finish. — 9 years ago
I kinda laugh when people hold up Lioco and Idlewild as great examples of wine from Mendocino. Graziano Family of Wines have been doing "New California" long before the hip New-Cal wineries in Mendocino began to appear. Let's have some respect for the history there. Anyway, this 2011 Aglianico is SEAMLESS. That's the only way to describe it in sum. The nose had nice fruit compote, Clay, oak, salinity. Palate is medium+, balanced, and again, seamless. Low pH around 3.45, high TA. Aged two years in French oak. Cost: 21 dollars wine club pricing. — 9 years ago
