Dense, inky, and lush. Brambly dark fruit and just a bit of herbaceousness. This is a bigger Pinot that should keep improving for a while. — 8 years ago
Not a typical California Syrah, more elegance instead of power... with plenty of spice for syrah lovers. — 9 years ago
In a good place — 10 years ago
Good but we didn't do it justice having it follow a Lioco Hirsch that had so much more zip and pushed the ripeness on this to the forefront... — 10 years ago

Love the wonky label content--but not as much as the juice. Had the Chardonnay the other night--superb as well. — 11 years ago
Needs some aging. Made in desert region of Monterey! 2500 ft, 80 swing in temps — 12 years ago
Just what I want in a great Sonoma coastal Pinot. Not too heavy, or ripe. Well balanced with a seductive texture and Asian spice infused balanced fruit component. — 8 years ago
We were pleasantly surprised with this wine. We drank it while we ate cioppino. It's not your typical Chardonnay. We tasted just the right amount of oak, low on acidity and picked up pineapple notes too. It reminded us of a 2012 Lioco Chardonnay we had when we dined at Coi. — 9 years ago
Had on Jet Blue of all places. Dry and smooth, they could have circled all day and I was ok. — 9 years ago
Was this good? Yes, yes it was. Was it great? It was pretty close. I applaud IPOB. It paired fantastically with pulled bbq chicken lettuce wraps and calabacitas. My only problem? The Lioco is a bit cheaper, and more to my taste. This was good though, and everyone liked it, which is more than you can say about most wines. It had a Burgundy feel to it, but more like a Bourgogne than being able to dial into a village or a vineyard. — 10 years ago
I kinda laugh when people hold up Lioco and Idlewild as great examples of wine from Mendocino. Graziano Family of Wines have been doing "New California" long before the hip New-Cal wineries in Mendocino began to appear. Let's have some respect for the history there. Anyway, this 2011 Aglianico is SEAMLESS. That's the only way to describe it in sum. The nose had nice fruit compote, Clay, oak, salinity. Palate is medium+, balanced, and again, seamless. Low pH around 3.45, high TA. Aged two years in French oak. Cost: 21 dollars wine club pricing. — 10 years ago

Delicious and super well balanced. This is ready to drink now but can withstand SOME aging. — 12 years ago
Extraordinary Chardonnay. No oak/butter, beautiful fruit and just a little spice. I need more. — 7 years ago
Excellent non-traditional gruner, smooth & bright, very pleasing, lighter than normal body — 9 years ago
Much preferred this aligoté to the LIOCO stainless steel new world chardonnay the restaurant was pairing. Minerality and some concentration for a wine at this price point, both quite impressive. — 9 years ago
Great for an everyday wine when it is hot. Smells of green apple and honey, but relaxes quick with a non oaky buttery finish. — 10 years ago
Pretty amazing this time around. Nice acidity, fresh nose; it is crisper and leaner than the Golden Slope. Does Liquid Farm make the best Chardonnay in CA? If they don't, it would have to be Lioco or Stony Hill. — 10 years ago
A selection of the amazing wines from the Lioco-Banshee dinner last night. This is the 2012 Marine Layer. — 11 years ago

More home boozing during the lockdown. This is a very nice Anderson Valley pinot noir. Hope to visit there again one day. — 6 years ago
