Grand Mélange Signature Selection Red Blend 2009

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals! This was from our honeymoon in 2012. It was gifted to us by a couple that was on the same wine tour. Dates, lead pencil, subtle hints of cherry and dark berries. Pepper plays on the palate. A fine trip down memory lane. — 8 years ago

Tastes like summer! A dessert wine for the pool. Definitely not a year-round drink but quite tasty and balanced for a dessert wine.

Los Caballos Vineyard Merlot 2011

Color: slightly hazy, deep Mordant red and firebrick rim.
Nose: notes of tree fruit and berries, a pronounce touch of mint, hints of coffee and chocolate.
Palate: dry, full-bodied, moderately high acidity and medium round tannins. Balance: a little bit acidic.
Flavors: caramel, coffee, blackberries, cherries and a touch of clove. Finish is long.
A complex, little rustic, but delicious Merlot.

Temecula Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Light colouring for a Cabernet but plenty of good flavour and a rounded fruity finish. One of the best Temecula wineries. — 7 years ago

3rd place in Altaire blind tasting 4/22/16. finished the rest of the bottle with Fernando 4/24, and we both like it a lot better now. Bumped the rating up. — 9 years ago

Temecula Valley Riesling 2014

Very peachy, crisp with a nice balance of honeysuckle/sweetness. Not acidic, but there is a little butteryness and that characteristic leoness oak. There is a slight bleach and other cleaning product odor to it, but not in a bad way...it kind of adds to the crisp/clean feel. Very nice for a warm afternoon! — 9 years ago

Temecula Valley Cinsault 2007

This port style wine with salted dark chocolate is sinful! Great dessert or sipping wine. I recently drank the 2003 vintage I had and went back to the winery to get more of this vintage to keep for a while. — 9 years ago

Best dessert wine I’ve had. Caramely goodness. And fabulous with chocolate truffles. Super sweet but not overdone. I’ll definitely be getting more.
