Very good on it's own or take a bottle of this Leonard Oakes Escape Rose and Leonard Oakes Frontrnac and dump into a pitcher. Tastes just like sangria. Very good! — 8 years ago
Lightly Oakes Chardonnay and not overly buttery either — 8 years ago
Delish! Amazing gift from Tommy. Oakes berry nose that matches the palate incredibly. Love!!! Paired lovely with thick cheesy everything pizza. Enhanced the oak goodness. — 8 years ago
Best Pet Nat I've put in my mouth. Respects the grape and respects the process. Floral, apples and citrus. Throw a little earthy minerality and some yeasty funk, you got yourself one heck of a austere wine. Petillant Natural from NYS, it can be done. It is done. This funeral director thinks the label rocks. #niagara #nyswine #nydrinksny #riesling #sparkling #pétillantnaturel #petnat — 9 years ago
Was very good. Portion of proceeds go to charity. — 9 years ago
8% abv. Aromas of mineral, honeysuckle, stone fruits. Taste of citrus, honey, apple. Nice balance of slight sweetness and nice acidity. Slight fizz on the tongue. Elegant. Soft and smooth. Great with spicy Chinese. I like this. Great quality for $11 at Costco. — 8 years ago
2013. Bordeaux replacement of Chard. 65% sauv blanc + 35% semillon. Sauv provides the grassy floral and pineapple notes while the semillon brings forward more body and character. Really cool stuff and I like the direction they took. Not overly Oakes at this stage. I want to see how this changes with age. — 8 years ago
A very refreshing wine

I usually don't like Rieslings from the Rhein region as much as the Mosel region, but this one was delicious. Very flavorful, but it wasn't sweet like you think a Riesling would be. This was smooth going down, and no sharp aftertaste at all. I enjoyed this immensely. — 9 years ago
