Shockingly good. Bright, lightly floral, easy to drink. Great with a meal or on its own. — 4 days ago

The Florita Clare Valley Riesling 2012

See previous note from a year ago. White florals citrus aromas and a touch of talc. Interestingly the kerosene aromas from the previous tasting seem to have diminished somewhat. The palate has medium plus intensity and excellent length. Certainly The Florita is one of the more famous vineyards in Australia for Riesling where John Vickery crafted excellent long living Rieslings under the Leo Buring label decades ago. I remember having some amazing 1973 Leo Buring DWC Rieslings in the 1980s. — 3 months ago

Small Hill Red Pinot Noir Blend 2020

Caramelized fruits on the nose -

A very smooth blend of Merlot, Spatburgunder, and St.Laurent.
Elegant and Lacey, unsweetened blueberry and cherry juices. Hint of jolly rancher acidity - tempered and drinking well.

Passo Del Cardinale Primitivo Di Manduria 2018

It is a medium dark wine with a savory nose, showing violets, licorice, forest floor and a touch of cardamom. The palate is spicy, with black pepper and herbs joining the black berry profile. The tannins are quite firm and the acidity is fresh. It is a youthful wine which will pair nicely with a pork roast. — 2 years ago

Come walk with me and wonder a little Grenache Blanc 2018

Da Dong w Sebastien Morin.

“The Grenache Blanc is already dry and tastes really good; the freshness and acidity are still intact, and the saltiness is well integrated. Also, the little bitterness from the slow press starting to show.” - Sunday, March 3, 2019 | Valvignères, France

“Our first Grenache Blanc. The attention we showed to the grapes before and during harvest, combined with the way we pressed, is paying off. It’s a wine full of flavours and length, which isn’t typical of 2018.” - Sunday, May 25, 2019 | Valvignères, France

This was delicious! I bought it a couple years ago and forgot about it. Dusted it off while grilling steaks and watching the Phillies get a playoff W. It’s almost as old as the last time the Phils were in the playoffs, but it’s still going strong. — 3 months ago
