Bright copper hue. Nose is full of sweet red berries, spices and bit savory tang that reminds of the Sangiovese. On palate this is juicy and bright with nice lenght that build towards the end. Light tannins gives nice spicyness to the end. Very pleasant Rose that has brightness of being for a sipper but enough concentration for lighter fare like Pizzas or warm salads with grilled chicken or salmon. Great stuff — 4 years ago

Big, bold & burly.
Dark fruit with black cherry, blackberry, cassis. But also some lavender, smoky roast, toasted oak. Powerful and with good depth & purity. Fresh, too.
On the palate this packs a punch - big, juicy, chewy tannins, creamy dark fruit and loads of savoury freshness! Not shy nor particularly elegant - but this is good! Esp. with some good Fiorentina! Just give it time to breathe! — 2 years ago

Disappointing. Having visited this winery and tasting several of their offerings, this one is a disappointment especially as compared to their lesser rated wines. No depth. The finish is thin and does not linger as it should for a Gran Selezione Chianti Classico. The nose is there as are the first few sips but as the wine sits in the glass, it seems to actually dissipate any further flavors. Oh well. I still like other Le Cinciole wines. — 2 months ago
