Just an incredibly delicious super solid Chablis. Lemon, lavender and minerals. Bracing. Great food wine. At $20 a wine to have within reach at all times. — 4 years ago
Definitely smooth! Drinks like a blend with spicey notes. Almost thought it had a % of zin or Syrah. Loved it! Great with pizza! — 4 years ago
Mature complex delicious layers with Oolong Tea and Lychee notes - chilled it to bring the acidity up...great with Lobsters and stands up to Thai chilis too! — 6 years ago

One of the few producers that I purchase each and every vintage. I find that Laurence Feraud’s wines are consistently some of the more interesting and enjoyable wines made in all of Chateauneuf du Pape; particularly when value comes into play. This bottle is my first experience with her 2018 vintage and the first bottle of a small tranche that I swooped up upon release. Popped and poured; consumed over 5 hours. The color is deep ruby with a near opaque core; glossy and gorgeous to behold. Medium+ viscosity. On the nose, this is classic Pegaü with loads of dark cherry and bramble fruit, a veritable hillside full of garrigue, lavender, black pepper, and something that reminds me of old books. On that palate, the fruit is equally generous, brambles and cherries, exotic spices, Herbs de Provence and a somewhat sanguine-like character to it. Substantial structure, though it seems to be a notch lower than the previous three vintages at this point in its young life. The tannins are very sneaky. Almost imperceptible for the first hour and yet, by hour four, they were very much making themselves known (in the Medium+ range). Acid is also Medium+ indicating these have an exciting life ahead. The finish lasts for well over a minute. All in all, another lovely Pegaü that will likely live in the shadow of some of the more heralded vintages in the last ten years however, that doesn’t mean this isn’t a stunner. Absolutely lovely stuff and I very much look forward to enjoying these well into the 2030’s. — 4 years ago
Свежее, лёгкое, стройно скроенное, высококислотное, минеральное. Без выдержки в бочке. Айва, карамбола, белый персик, ракушка, мокрый камень. — 5 years ago

The 2014 Pichon Lalande has the edge over Pichon Baron a few months ago. It is a tight race but here Pichon Lalande edges it. It has a wonderful, complex, intense bouquet with blackberry, briary, graphite and mint – just a straight-down-the-line Pauillac with all the aristocratic flair you look for. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, layers of pure black fruit laced with graphite and mint. It is blessed with a satin-like texture, not a hair out of place from start to finish, with a long, persistent aftertaste that completes a fabulous wine for the vintage. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, March 2018) — 7 years ago
The 2019 La Fleur-Pétrus is pure and total seduction. Trotanoy and perhaps also Hosanna have traditionally been viewed as more exclusive Pomerols in the Moueix portfolio. The more time passes, the less I share that view. Sure, La Fleur-Pétrus does not have the mystique associated from a small single vineyard - as many Pomerols do - and yet there is no denying the elegance and class here. Bright red fleshed fruit, blood orange and exotic spice race across the palate, framed by silky, plush tannins that wrap it all together. La Fleur-Pétrus is fabulous. That's all there is to it. 14,8% di Alcol
22 g/l zucchero residuo
6 g/l acidità totale
Pinot Grigio solidissimo
— 4 years ago

Medium garnet in color, this iconic red Châteauneuf-du-Pape has developed brilliantly since I first tasted it from barrel with winemaker Laurence Feraud. Well defined, pronouned aromas of raspberry and strawberry marmalade, cooked red cherries, dried herbs, charred wood, licorice, earth, mushrooms and iodine are bursting from the glass. Full bodied, concentrated and extremely dense, the 2007 Da Capo closes with a long, slightly alcoholic finish. It has probably reached it‘s peak by now, but will likely stay there for another decade. Drink now or until 2034. — 3 years ago
