Peploes lockdown lot... awesome burgundian PN. — 4 years ago
Really enjoying the balance here... nose of charcoal and iron shavings, but also dark raspberry and tart cherry fruit. Firm acidity with medium tannins. Cherry and red currant. Just a touch of vanilla and clove. That taste of pulling a leather glove off with you mouth is reminiscent. Appreciable length, finishing with a red apple skin note. I have found that reds from this producer, which are not structured like those from the Cote de Nuits, are a great value play and very approachable young. — 5 years ago
Great value for €34. Almond, butter, lemon, baking spices, and oak — 6 years ago
Company holiday party this evening, starting in the hotel room with this bottle... I'm fully aware that anything else will be downhill tonight, but best to enjoy while our palates are fresh.
Nose has citrus skin, wet calcareous minerals and faint oak.
Palate has lemon-apple, great acidity, perfect minerality, lemon curd lite. Very long finish, this wine is so young!

Discrete nose of white fruit with pears and also a slight minty and smoke feel, very discrete. The palate is gorgeous, such balance between the perfect acidity and slight richness of fruit and elegance. Another great 2017 CDB. 90-91
Nez discret de poires et une touche de menthe et de fumée mais sans déranger. Le vin est délicieux, quel équilibre entre cette tension appuyée et cette richesse de fruit, juste parfait. Un autre beau blanc 2017. 90-91 + — 5 years ago
The 2nd GC White Burgundy of the day. Nose not giving much - a little closed and sadly the wine a bit cold. The palate a little more restrained and medium bodied than the Jacques Carillon. — 7 years ago
A lovely round pinot. Deep colour that hints at its richness. Yet a very smooth soft finish. Unusually good value for a restaurant Burgundy. Drinking well despite its youth — 7 years ago
Stunning. Had this before the bottle of Brand and was blown away. So much there, the fruit, the terroir, the history. Honey, cinnamon, oranges...I loved this Chardonnay! @Maayan Koschitzky let’s make one!😊 — 7 years ago

Surprisingly buttery for a chassagne. Nice acidity to balance it. Consistent linger. Lacks the minerality I would have expected. Lemony melon on the nose. — 11 years ago

2012 vintage. Pale lemon hue. Quite round on the nose and creamy oak, ripe lemon and short-cake - reminds me of Chablis but with less minerality. On the palate, powerful attack of concentrated ripe lemon fruits and hints of apricot. High acidity, medium body and medium plus concentration. Real bite on the finish. There's an elegance in the mid palate and a decent finish. Good now but drink until 2025. — 10 years ago

Bright and crisp acidity, slightly oxidized. Really great balance. Hint of green papaya towards green apple. But cream and minerality keep it great. — 3 years ago
