Intense raspberry on the nose with hints of smoke. Amazed how time has tamed this wine. Rich and lush red fruit this has successfully transformed itself. Was told that this is a wonderful old vine Zin...the sales person was right! Wonderful balance and I rarely like Zins! My wife even likes it and she dislikes Zins!! Very nice finish on the palette! — 11 years ago
