Juicy and the right amount of acid for me to keep me engaged. Cherries and plums are the prominent combo I’m getting here. — 3 years ago

2010 vintage. Smooth up front with chocolate tobacco tones with slight plum. If finish was longer would get a higher rating. — a year ago
Pleasantly surprised by a relatively restrained oak aged Zin with plenty of interesting notes. — a year ago
Big fruit forward then a dusty dark fruit in the middle. Then a quick dusty finish. — 4 years ago
Smells like a dessert wine, but tastes like a crisp late harvest Riesling. — 5 years ago

@Delectable Wine -This wine is the Jayson by Pahlmeyer “The Bench” Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black berry fruit and sweet oak. Dark blackberry, boysenberry, black currant and plum fruit with additional notes of chocolate and black pepper. Very long finish that has an acidic bite. Extremely fruit forward, concentrated and plush. Still quite young, so more bottle age may be needed. Part of the Capital Grill 2025 Generous Pour Program. We were told that this is the initial vintage of this wine. — 9 months ago
