Single vineyard 2013 Gran Selezione is 95% Sangiovese / 5% Merlot. Dark cherry, spice, a little earthiness and chocolate on the palate. Full bodied, concentrated and smooth. Decanted for 3 hours, which helped to loosen up the firm tannins and give it a nicely balanced finish. Affordable Gran Selezione at $34.

100% Merlot. Full-bodied, lots of dark fruit, sweetness combined with good acidity and velvety tannins. Great wine! — 4 years ago

French oak, dried figs, very smooth finish. Highly recommend this wine! — 8 years ago
Lovely full bodied Chianti Classico Riserva still tannic on the palate and could age at least another 5 years. Very indicative of the region of Castellina in Chianti with the addition of 10% Merlot for smoothness and body. Unfortunately my last bottle of the 2008 vintage. Drinking in May, 2020. — 4 years ago

Nice everyday wine. — 7 years ago
Earthy tones, medium viscosity, slight fruitiness once you let the wine breath. Becomes more subtle in the earthy tones once the one breaths for 10 mins.

Decent Sangiovese blend from Tuscany. Fruit forward and delicious with spicy notes like black currant and plum. Not my favorite Tuscan in the $30-50 range — 3 years ago
