Amazing Greek Syrah from beautiful parts of northern Greece. Had this with friends. Wanted to hold off on opening but for such a young wine. Amazing. Give it another 10 years... even better. — 3 years ago
Clear clean and slightly crisp. Passion fruit of the Sauv Blanc on the aroma without the over done gooseberry flavors. Dry with mineral and acid brightness. — 4 years ago

By far the most earthly wine I ever tried. Wind, smoke, pronounced grilled bread when just opened. A really rare variety, Mouhtaro, fortunately not to be found easily. Like a good poetry. — 7 years ago

Lovely wine from Greece. — 3 years ago
Nice dry with strong bright acid. Great leading aroma. A slight turn to passion fruit AKA Marlborough but not enough to detract from a fine refreshing glass. — 4 years ago
Alcohol heat needs to burn off when first popped, but with a moderate decant/air has a lovely Nebbiolo-ish approach to its Greek DNA. Light red in appearance, white pepper & cherry life savers on nose. Medium light body, acid plus, edges rounded after a bit. Cherries & Persimmon on palate. Had w veal parm takeout, Pandemic style, before the last round of family Rummikub. Delicious, in a prickly kinda way. Made Asimov s top 20 wines under 20$. — 5 years ago
Regardless of how dark a grape is, island/hot coastal wine regions in that part of the world (Greece and Italy, Spanish and French islands, etc). Always seem to have a fresh minerality to them. Black tea, currants, dry, dry, dry. Very dark, but all freshened up by that island minerality. — 5 years ago
At Mojo with my hubby. Greek orange amber wine. Beautiful — 3 years ago
First time with this varietal. Tasted like a cross between Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp and acidic but also glycerin and some perfume. It’s so fun. Doing a bang up job pairing with Greek appetizers. — 3 years ago
A blend of xinomavro, Merlot, and syrah. Complex, red fruit, from Greece. Tannin. $22 b&g — 5 years ago

Very deftly oaked, vibrant and with great energy.
Nice reduction with toasted sesame, flinty notes. Cool, fresh. Green rather than yellow fruit - underripe pineapple, green papaya. Highly enticing.
On the palate this poised, elegant, with tension, juicy acidity and nice depth. Much more exotic on the palate with guava, pineapple and a bit of spice with the oak adding to the breadth. The vibrant acidity holds everything in check.
Not a Meursault but not far at all.
Unexpectedly delicious. — 2 years ago
